Happy Friday friends! I settled on getting a bit more sleep this morning and then coming home to rest my eyes for a bit after work later this afternoon to prep for the all-nighter for RRR. I’m SO EXCITED, completely nervous, and still have absolutely no idea what I’m going to wear! Suggestions are greatly appreciated!
What are you up to this weekend? I think this weekend may be our peak foliage time because it is looking so GOLDEN out there. When is fall peaking for you? It’s so early every year here in CO compared to back in New England and it always feels 10x shorter than it should be. I cannot believe that it could start SNOWING any day now. I’m trying to cherish each run that I get outside because when it dips down into those single digit icy temperatures —> I’ll be inside all the time.
I wanted to share with you all something that I’ve started doing each week and it is honestly the FAVORITE day of my week now (…yes even more so than Fridays!). I’ve started to incorporate swimming on my Wednesdays (I have an easy run on these days), as well as running WITHOUT headphones. It’s basically an hour and a half of just being aware of my surroundings and listening to the sounds around me. I LOVE it. I call them my ‘Wellness Wednesdays’.
I always feel 10x more rejuvenated after these morning workouts and at ease. It makes SUCH a big difference! I hear more birds churping, the leaves crunching beneath my feet, become more aware of the water droplets on my swim cap…
Ever run without headphones?
Swimming - yay or nay? —> I love it so much that I’m wanting to incorporate two swims a week into my schedule!

Three things you’re doing this weekend?!? —> pacing the RRR Friday night-early AM Saturday, most likely watching movies and resting all day Saturday, going to a Wedding on Sunday!
